Wisconsin-Made Artisan Cheeses in Wisconsin

Horizontal Red bar

Union Star Cheese has a variety of Wisconsin-made artisan cheeses. Our cheeses are produced using the traditional craftsmanship of skilled cheesemakers. We use locally sourced milk in all of the cheeses we make. Artisan cheeses have to age and ripen, which gives them a stronger taste than most mild cheeses made in large batches. Wisconsin makes cheeses including asiago, blue wedge, brick aged, flavored muensters, gouda, and more. Some of our flavored muenster cheeses include black olive, curds in a cloud, dill, garlic and dill, habanero, and more.

The Union Star cheese is some of the best in the world. It is handmade to perfection in small batches, the authentic way of making cheeses. We make our cheese 5 days a week, starting at 4:00 AM. Stop by our store or order online and try some of our delicious Wisconsin-made artisan cheeses.
